During my time at Outserve Ltd, I worked hands-on with small to mid-sized businesses across the ecommerce, stock management, and retail sectors. My role focused on integrating and optimizing core business systems to streamline operations and improve visibility across platforms.

Ecommerce & System Integrations

‍I played a key role in building tailored integrations between platforms like Shopify, Unleashed, Xero, and 3PL providers. This helped businesses consolidate workflows, from inventory and warehousing to finance and order processing, enabling smarter decisions and fewer operational delays.

Custom Implementation & Technical Onboarding

‍Every setup was different. I configured custom system flows to match each client’s needs, handled end-to-end implementation, and led onboarding sessions to ensure smooth adoption. Whether it was syncing order data or automating inventory updates, the goal was always long-term efficiency.

Data Migration & Clean Setup

‍Migrating data from legacy systems required precision. I was responsible for ensuring clean, usable datasets were transferred over, preserving integrity while setting clients up with better reporting and performance tracking.

Training & Long-Term Support

‍I created structured SOPs and delivered practical training so that clients could confidently manage their systems post-launch. I also supported clients through technical troubleshooting, ensuring critical systems stayed online and within SLA targets.

Project Management & Consultancy

‍Working closely with project leads, I helped scope, plan, and deliver solutions that stayed on track and within budget. I also contributed to consultancy sessions. This helped clients choose the right platforms and workflows based on their goals and future scaling needs.

Real-Time Reporting & Business Insights

‍Instead of relying on disconnected spreadsheets, I helped businesses tap into real-time dashboards and reporting tools, improving their ability to act on live data and manage performance with clarity.

What It Meant For Me

‍This role deepened my understanding of how ecommerce and retail businesses operate behind the scenes and how the right tech stack can unlock serious efficiency. It also sharpened my skills in communication, system design, and client support. I gained vital and futureproofing skills that I cannot thank my mentors enough that guided me and pushed me through the correct hurdles to get me where I am now. The knowledge I earned was imense, I want to carry these skills throughout my career.
