Website

LINQ Clothing was a full-stack project where I helped bring an emerging streetwear label to life online. From branding to backend, I shaped the digital presence of the business and created a streamlined shopping experience that matched the vibe of the brand.

Brand Identity and Visual Direction

Working closely with the founders, I helped define the look and feel of the brand’s digital identity. I used bold typography, clean visuals, and strong contrast to reflect the minimalist, modern tone of the clothing. My background in graphic design played a key role in creating a polished, fashion-first layout that still performed well across devices.

Ecommerce Platform Build

The store was built using Shopify, chosen for its flexibility and ease of use. I customised the theme to match the brand's vision and handled setup for all core pages including product listings, collections, and the checkout process. Every element was optimised for speed and usability.

Responsive Design and Mobile Experience

I made sure the site looked and felt great on both desktop and mobile. Every section was tested to maintain layout integrity and ease of use, whether users were browsing hoodies on a laptop or checking out from their phone.

Marketing and Store Readiness

To support the launch, I helped set up product tags, SEO-friendly URLs, and social integrations. I also advised on pricing structure, product descriptions, and inventory tagging to ensure a smooth backend setup.

Real-World Impact

This project gave me a chance to blend ecommerce systems, frontend dev, and branding into a single cohesive launch. It showed how small details in layout, flow, and structure can help a new brand look established from day one.

Inventory, Pricing, and Product Tagging

As part of the simulation, I created mock products with SKUs, pricing tiers, sizing variants, and availability tagging. I worked through real-world ecommerce considerations such as tax settings, shipping rules, and inventory stock management to better understand how fashion-focused stores operate on the backend.

Mobile UX and Performance

Knowing most customers browse and buy via mobile, I focused on responsive breakpoints and tap-friendly layouts. Every page was tested and refined to feel native and intuitive on smaller screens, while still maintaining impact and clarity.

Launch Strategy Simulation

Alongside the build, I mocked out what a launch campaign could look like including seasonal drops, email signups, newsletter sections, and social media integration. I also wrote product copy and structured homepage content as if it were preparing for an actual release.

Business Use-Case and Learning Value

LINQ Clothing became a proving ground for applying everything I’ve learned in ecommerce development. It pulled together backend systems, visual branding, and customer UX into one polished MVP. Even though the brand is fictional, the build was created to be fully deployable and scalable. This project helped me gain deeper insight into what’s needed to go from idea to operating a web store and how to prototype that journey efficiently.
